Prof. Dr. Parin Somani is an Indian-born British academic scholar, educator, humanitarian, motivational speaker, and author, recognised globally for her outstanding work in education, women’s empowerment, youth development, and humanitarian service. She serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the London Organisation of Skills Development (LOSD), an international platform advancing education, skills development, and social impact through 13 global initiatives. Early Life & Education

Born on 17 June 1969 in India, Prof. Dr. Parin Somani exhibited a love for learning, writing, and community engagement from an early age. At 19, she has written 11 books, at the age of 20 she became a published author and a freelance journalist, later working as a TV presenter during the 1980s. An athlete and a national level cyclist in her youth, she combined creativity with discipline, setting the foundation for her dynamic leadership. After moving to the United Kingdom, she pursued higher education and began a distinguished academic journey. She holds two academic PhDs—in Education Media and Education Leadership—and six honorary doctorates recognising her contributions to Business Administration, World Peace and Diplomacy, two Literature D’Litt degrees, Humanities, Global Education. Her academic accomplishments reflect her lifelong belief in education as a transformative force for humanity.

Academic Achievements

Prof. Dr. Somani has contributed extensively to global academia through research, authorship, and mentoring. She has published over 48 peer reviewed academic research papers, written more than 25 books, and contributed to and feature in more than 261 international publications and 2 patents namely: ‘‘Impact of Open Access E-Resources in digital Education System’’ and ‘‘Cyber Security Management System Using The Ntegrated Technology’’. Her leadership in education has earned her numerous international recognitions. As Managing Editor of the Global Research Journal (GRJ) and Chair of Global Research Conferences (GRC), she provides scholars and professionals worldwide with platforms to present innovative ideas and publish their work. Her achievements also include holding two Guinness World Records one as Lead Editor of the World’s Thickest Book, which featured the ‘‘23 Positive Change Makers in the World 2023.’’ and another Guinness World Record for the most users to take a multi-level online artificial intelligence lesson in 24 hours. She has also featured in the ‘‘24 Prominent Personalities in the World 2024’’ and ‘‘Global Thought Leaders of the Year 2025’’ and ‘‘25 Visionaries of the World 2025’’.
